EDDIE HALL PREPARED TO “RISK IT ALL” AT THE ULTIMATE STRONGMAN WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

Eddie “The Beast” Hall, 6 time UK’s Strongest Man and the only man in history to deadlift 500kg is prepared to “risk it all” at next week’s Ultimate Strongman World Championship in Newcastle.

Fans feared for Eddie’s life after he passed out from his 500 kgs deadlift world record earlier in the year and Eddie is ready to do whatever it takes again to be crowned Ultimate Strongman World Champion.

The Beast said, “This Saturday’s event is massive for me. I’ve been UK’s Strongest Man 6 times now but never World Champion. The athletes competing are extraordinary but I’m prepared to risk everything to beat them. This title is the one I want to win and I won’t let anyone stand in my way.”

Saturday will see the most competitive Strongman line up ever to be seen in the UK and is being held at the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle in front of a live arena audience. Designed to give fans a real close up of the action, this will be the first indoor arena world championship event to be staged in the UK.

Also competing is Zydrunas Savikas aka “Big Z”, 4 times World Strongest Man and considered by many as the greatest strongman of all time plus Laurance Shahlaei who currently holds the title of Europe’s Strongest Man.

The World Championship title will be decided over five disciplines, including the legendary Atlas Stones, Monster Tyre Flip and fans favourite the Deadlift Challenge, where the much awaited showdown between world-record holder “The Beast” and “Big Z” is sure to bring the house down.
